Unique Holiday Shopping at Urban Craft Uprising Events in Seattle, WA
Arts and crafts are a huge part of the life and culture here in Seattle, Washington, and that is no exception during the holidays. Seattle is jam-packed with all sorts of eccentric shops, fun markets/shows, and fantastic art galleries that make up its unique artistic background. One such show is Urban Craft Uprising, which is known as Seattle’s biggest arts and crafts show hosted biannually in the summer and winter, and the winter events are just around the corner!

Gobble Up -
Gobble Up is a specialty food show that began just last year in 2017! Being a huge hit, the show makes a return this year and will feature over 100+ local food vendors displaying their delicious cuisines. The show is completely free of charge and guests have the chance to try tasty foods, purchase awesome snacks for holiday parties, discover new products, and more! Really, an entire show dedicated to the love of food… why would you not attend?

Urban Craft Uprising Winter Show and Preview Night -
November 30th kicks off the main event with Urban Craft Uprising’s annual Preview Night! The Preview Night is only open to the first 1,500 people to register, but offers some wonderful opportunities for shopping in advance of the main event. The Preview Night will feature all vendors for the big show the following day, along with extra fresh foods and alcohols, and raffle prizes! Note: Preview Night is only open to those of 21 years of age or up.

The first of December begins Seattle’s largest arts and crafts show featuring over 150 unique vendors that will draw nearly 15,000 people to attend! Guests have the chance to peruse a variety of wonderful goodies, including things like handmade accessories, clothing, cards, toys, furniture, housewares, and so much more. Unique art pieces, fancy candles, and wacky wallets all make for great holiday gifts! The Show always has fun-filled swag bags for attendees and of course, is free for all to attend. South Lake Union Winter Market -
If you missed out on the big Urban Craft Uprising Winter show or didn’t get all that you needed, the following week they will be hosting a secondary show in South Lake Union to feature a few dozen more vendors to shop from! These vendors will rotate out each day, so there will be much opportunity to find the unique gifts you are looking for. And, of course, the event is free to attend!

Holiday Market at Westlake Park -
Starting November 23 and ending December 23, 2018, there will be a Holiday Market at Westlake Park every weekend that is hosted by the Downtown Seattle Association and Urban Craft Uprising. If you miss out on the bigger events, you will have every chance to pick up some homemade, unique gifts at these free weekly markets before the holidays! These markets will feature local vendors from Seattle and are fun for the whole family.
